Fatherhood Support Groups

Fathers Support Groups are now forming.

The Fathers Support Groups will cover the multifacted educational needs of fathers as it relates to their positive involvement in their families and communities. The support groups will focus on the reinforcement of positive involvement of fathers in the lives of their children and families. The support groups will also focus on strengthening and rebalancing the roles and responsbilities of fathers in their families and communities.

The following educational topics will be covered in the support groups:

• Helping custodial and non-custodial fathers improve their parenting skills
• Improve parent-to-parent communication
• Increase involvement with their children
• Learn about legal rights and responsibilities of fathers
